Mayors of Tirol protest yesterday on the Brenner Highway against the indecision of the national austrian Government about the financing of the Railway Tunnel under the Brenner.

The austrian Transport Minister, Doris Bures, said that only in the Fall it will be decided about the financing of the work. The Finance Minister, Josef Pröll, said that the Brenner Tunnel have ecologic meaning  and than in the transports, but the saving policy of the austrain Government call for an examination of all the investment plans.
